[BEHIND THE SCENE] Neverland - Character list

Neverland Chapter 3
Glossary:
The road to the top of the mount was not easy, proved by the whiny Leon.
“We haven’t arrived yet??” He complained.
“We’re still on the way,” Nelson replied. “Geez, why is this branch getting on my way?!” He continued as he sloppily cut down some branches.
“Nelson, don’t do that.” Dean warned him. But Nelson didn’t hear what his friend was saying and he continued cutting down tree branches, and even their leaves.
And a few minutes later, Leon followed his action and he ruined some trees too. “Hey, what’s wrong with you guys??” Dean asked in confusion seeing their friends’ behavior. But he himself didn’t try to stop them. He felt weird, like his body wasn’t his. He felt something was controlling him, and he knew he had to snap out of it because it got too far.
“Guys, guys, stop!” Dean yelled. This thing controlling them was quiet powerful that Dean had to grab his friends and he looked at them in their eyes. “Something is controlling us, and we are doing a bad thing. Snap out of it!” He said firmly.
Fortunately, Leon and Nelson seemed to wake up from their previous condition and they looked confused.
“What have we done??” Leon mumbled to himself in disbelief. Well yes, the trees behind them were pretty much ruined.
“Hey, guys. We’re on the top of the mountain…” Nelson said in horror. “When did we get here?”
“Let’s walk down the mount and talk about it. Did you guys feel some sort of power, controlling you?” Dean’s question was answered with nods. “Do you have any idea of what that was, Leon?”
The asked person fell into a thought before he spoke up. “It might be magic. But these days no magic are allowed to control people, so it should be a kind of ancient magic. A quiet powerful one, a dangerous one.” Leon explained. He then continued, “This could be the power of the key we’re searching for right now.”
“What could have happened to us?” Nelson asked.
“Well, seeing and experiencing how powerful it is, we… could have gone nowhere to be found. It’s some sort of hypnosis.”
They remained silent for a while until Dean started another conversation. “Hey, Leon.” He called.
“Yes?”
“Let’s not tell Lex about this, okay? If she knows what happened—and what could have happened, she would stare at us…,” Dean looked at Leon to re-enact how Lex would do it like. “And then exhaled slowly… And—“
“Deeeaan~! Stop it, you’re freaking me out!” Leon complained, which caused Dean to laugh.
Suddenly, like a bolt out of the blue, the adventurers heard a very loud chirp which they knew was from a pretty large bird. Leon, Nelson, and Dean followed the source of the sound to see a red-gold bird perching on a tree not far from them.
“What kind of bird is that?” Leon asked in surprise as he slowly approached the mysterious bird. The said bird didn’t move an inch, it only stared at Leon while keep chirping loudly.
“It’s okay, we’re not gonna hurt you!” Leon said, trying to reassure the bird with his voice tone. Dean and Nelson followed right behind him.
“Should we just catch it?” Nelson said. Seemed like he was still under the influence of the magic.
Right after he said so, an arrow was shot and it stabbed the ground, right in front of Nelson as if it was a prohibition. The three of them stopped their step in unison and turned their head upright to see the owner of the arrow.
“Who are you and what is your intention of being here?!” Asked a mysterious man in brown clothes. He was standing on one of the tree branch, not far away from where the previously mentioned bird was perching. That man aimed a crossbow at Nelson and his friends.
“Wow, wow! Calm down, friend. We meant no harm!” Dean said, trying to explain the situation. But the guy wouldn’t hear him out and was still aiming his crossbow at them.
“Oskar, go and tell Lizzy our location.” The man commanded. The three members of Neverland stared at each other in confusion, wondering who the man was talking to. But suddenly, they were once again surprised by the protesting chirp from the bird. “Hey, come on! Just this once, okay?” The man requested—to the bird. It glared at him sharply, but it seemed like granting his wish, so it flew away.
“Uhm… C-could you please put down your weapon?” Dean requested. And he got no reply from the other man.
“If you guys meant no harm, then why are you ruining this forest?” The mysterious man asked, still holding his crossbow.
“Because we have a business to finish at the top of the mount. And since walking in this forest is quiet difficult, we decide to cut down the branches and other things that got in our way.” Nelson answered sloppily which caused him to get a reminding glare from his two friends.
The man didn’t get a chance to give any response for they heard footsteps among the trees behind Dean.
“Who’s there?” Leon said as he stared at the direction, seemingly pretty afraid of his own negative imagination. Dean who was closest to the owner of the footsteps drew his sword.
“Just to warn you, I’m armed. Come out slowly!” He commanded.
Suddenly, the same bird from before came out from the trees and perched itself again on a tree nearby.
“Oh geez, what a long walk!” The person—whom by the voice seemed like a woman—complained while her figure was still covered by the trees. Dean readied his sword.
A split second after, Dean’s sword met someone else’s sword and he had to admit he was stunned when he saw it was a young woman.
“Put your sword away!” She commanded firmly while the bird had started to chanted angrily. “Be calm, Oskar!” The girl said as she herself put away her sword, so did Dean.
“Lizzy!!” Called the mysterious man. The girl called Lizzy turned her attention to him.
“Ah, there you are, Steve. What’s this all about, seriously?” She asked.
The mysterious man—who now they all knew was named Steve—got off from the branch he was standing on since they met. “These are the culprits we’ve been searching for.” He explained as he glanced at Leon, Nelson, and Dean.
Lizzy stared at the three men in silence. “Why are you ruining this forest?” She asked, calm but sharp. Her hands were on her swords—yes, two swords.
“Whoa, whoa, calm down, there!” Leon said, trying to settle down the situation. “We were on the influence of a—bad—magic that moment; a quiet strong ancient magic kind of hypnotized us. To make it a little bit clearer, we felt like… We turned greedy and wanted to take everything. Yeah, like that!” He continued with an explanation. He hoped he was clear enough.
It wasn’t just clear; it actually shocked Lizzy. “You guys came to the top of the mount?!” She asked. She could be surprised, but her hands were still ready with her swords. Steve couldn’t let down his guard as well.
All three members of Neverland nodded. “So uhh… Lizzy?” Dean tried to strike another conversation by making sure that her name was Lizzy. However it made the bird—which they believed name Oskar—chanted angrily in front of Dean’s face.
“Oskar, calm the hell down! Oskar!” Lizzy shouted. Oskar the bird obeyed her and it perched on Lizzy’s shoulder. “I apologize, he doesn’t like if someone calls me Lizzy. My real name is Liz, so you can call me that. Oskar won’t mind then.” She explain as she stroked Oskar’s shiny feathers.
“O-okay,” Dean replied, still stuttering.
“When I first called her with that name, Oskar scratched me, leaving a pretty big wound.” Steve said as he grinned. He then put down his crossbow. “Oh, my name’s Steve.” He added.
“Do you trust us?” Asked Dean when he saw the both of them put away their weapons.
“At least I trust you. And about the top of the mount, I do feel something’s strange about that place.” Steve said while Liz nodded.
“Oskar doesn’t mind being close to you, that’s enough proof that you’re not influenced anymore.” She said. “And for this time, we’re gonna accompany you to the top of the mount.”
Her statement got the three adventures surprised. “Y-you’re willing to?” Leon asked.
“Just to make sure you won’t ruin this place anymore.” Steve added.
“We really appreciate your help! It’s really hard to point a direction in this forest.” Dean thanked the both of them.
So now Dean, Leon, and Nelson continued their journey. And this time they were accompanied by Liz and Steve.
“Uhm… Liz?” Dean called.
The girl turned her head. “What’s wrong?” She asked calmly.
“Actually, what kind of bird is Oskar?”
The said creature chanted angrily at Dean again for it felt annoyed. Liz quickly stroke his feathers to calm him down as she stared at Dean sharply.
“Oh, sorry it was my fault. You don’t have to answer.” Dean immediately added.
Steve chuckled at the scene. “Don’t mind him, that bird is a little bit over-sensitive.” He said, causing Oskar to chant again.
“Steve!!” Liz yelled at him. The man grinned and continued walking as if nothing had happened. “Oskar is a phoenix.” Liz answered Dean’s question.
Nelson was the one who responded first, “Phoenix? Aren’t they near extinction? And I heard they usually don’t want to be seen by human.”
“Oskar’s different. Liz found an egg with him in it five years ago, three years before she met me.” Steve explained.
“You’ve been together for two years?” Dean couldn’t help but ask. Hearing the odd question, the other turned their attention to Dean. “No, I don’t mean…,” He added quickly so no one would misunderstood—which he honestly admit in his heart that they didn’t.
“Yeah, two years of torture.” Steve dramatized, causing Liz to immediately step on his feet.
“Why did you follow me, then?” The girl protested.
“Can you even do this without me?”
“Isn’t it the opposite?”
“Whoa, you guys are so close.” Nelson commented innocently.
“No, we’re not!” Both Steve and Liz answered in unison.
“There, there, stop it.” Dean interrupted, just like he would have done if the members of his guild quarreled. “We’re almost there.”
“Really??” Leon said in disbelief for he had almost out of breath. Dean replied by nodding and pointing at their front side.
“Actually, what’s your purpose of coming here? Especially to that dangerous place.” Steve asked out of curiosity.
“We’ve got some business.” Nelson answered shortly. Leon could feel that his comrade was starting to get controlled by the same magic they experienced minutes before. He reminded himself not to give in to the magic.
Alarmed by its animal instinct, Oskar flew away from Liz’s shoulder as soon as they arrived at the top of the mount. It was a large field covered in grass and trees.
“Hurry and finish your business here, we’re going to guide you on the way down the mount as well!” Liz commanded.
Her hands were ready on her swords again while Steve readied his crossbow, anticipating the worst scenario.
“O-okay!” Leon replied as he quickly ran to search for they key they were looking for.
For a few minutes later, silence took over the place they were standing on. None of them spoke a word. Leon, Dean, and Nelson were busy searching while Liz and Steve were observing and guarding the place.
“I have a bad feeling.” Liz said to Steve.
The guy exhaled, “I hate it when you say that.” He said as he fixed the position of his crossbow.
“I found it!” Nelson shouted. Then he ran to meet his comrades.
“Have you guys finished everything?” Steve asked in rush. When Nelson nodded enthusiastically, he continued speaking. “Good. Let’s get down now because Liz is having a bad feeling.”
Before the three of them could figure out what Steve was trying to say, they heard Liz’s shout. “Who’s there?!”
Everybody turned their attention to where Liz was looking; a tree. Oskar had also come back, ready to fight alongside its master.
“Why are you here too?” Liz asked to her loyal bird. But Oskar didn’t want to go.
“Liz, what’s wrong?” Asked Steve as he approached Liz. Before he arrived, a sound was heard from behind the tree.
“Whoa, turn out we don’t just get the key, but we get another bonus!” Said someone as he came from behind the tree, followed by another three men.
“Who’re you?!” Nelson yelled as he, Dean, and also Leon readied their respective weapon. The man smiled—a tricky and unfriendly smile.
“Before you ask for somebody else’s identity, you better introduce your own self, Nelson.” Another man in white coat said sarcastically.
“How do you know my na—“
“Vincent’s right,” The man they encountered first cut off Nelson’s words. “My name is Luke.”
The man in white coat—whose name was Vincent—sighed in frustration. “I wasn’t talking about you, Luke.”
“Come on, guys. We’re not here for this.” Another unknown man in blue coat interrupted.
“Come on, Claude. Introduce yourself too.” Luke commanded. It was clear he was playing around with his enemies, but he kept a serious face.
“What’s wrong with you guys??” The last man spoke up.
“Lester, you too!” Luke seemed to be enjoying his game, causing his comrades; Vincent, Claude, and Lester looked at each other while shaking their head in disbelief.
“Luke, let’s just take care of the key, shouldn’t we?” Vincent suggested, reminding his friend back on what they had intended to do—before it got ruined by Luke.
“Honestly, we don’t want to create a ruckus, so just hand us the key.” Claude said directly.
“And don’t forget about the phoenix. Hand us that too.” Luke who seemed like the leader of the group added, causing Liz and Steve to draw their weapon on him almost immediately.
“You wish!” Liz exclaimed.
“We’re not gonna let you have the key either!” Nelson added.
“Well then, guess we just have to take it by force.” Lester replied as he aimed his bow at them as he made a space in between.
Steve whispered to his partner, “I’ll guard the back.”
“Five against four, huh?” Luke commented. He himself didn’t seem to be worried about the fact that they were outnumbered.
“Oskar, go!” Liz commanded. The bird didn’t want to leave, but it obeyed Liz anyway.
In a split second, Liz’s double swords had collided with Luke’s long sword. Dean was taken aback and was about to help, but his step was stopped by Claude.
“Right, one on one sounds fair.” Dean said when his and Claude’s sword met. The villain didn’t say a word and just continued launching attacks. “Tsk…!” Dean mumbled.
On the other hand, Vincent was ready to attack Nelson—whom he believed was holding the key. However Leon wouldn’t let anything bad to happen, so he quickly rushed in to help Nelson. Nelson himself was overwhelmed for he was fighting against a wizard.
“Run!” Leon commanded Nelson as he took over the fight.
“Earth element possessor.” Vincent mumbled, but loud enough for Leon to hear it.
“And you’re an ice element possessor.” Leon replied as he defended himself from Vincent’s attack.
Vincent smirked, “Wrong.” He said as he launched several attacks on Leon with all kind of elements; from Fire to Earth, five elements in total.
Leon who only possessed one element surely wasn’t on the same level with Vincent, but he refused to give up. “I am a master of the Earth element, while you are just a multi-possessor!” He said in confident.
On the other hand…
“Luke!” Lester called in between his fight against Steve. “He escapes! The one carrying the key!” He continued.
Luke only switched his attention to Lester for about a second, but Liz could find a gap to counter attack him.
“Tsk…!” Luke mumbled when he was attacked. “Claude! Chase him!” He commanded. Claude complied and immediately chased after Nelson.
Dean was a second away from chasing Claude, but Liz shouted first, “Steve! Go to Nelson!” Steve nodded and he ran after the two of them. “You better help Leon.” Liz continued when Dean was about to help her. Dean agreed and he went to where Leon was fighting against Vincent.
“A very clever thought, young lady.” Luke mocked her. “But you’re not gonna be able to defeat me alone!”
“Yeah, that’s right.” Liz responded calmly. Right at that time, Oskar flew towards them and attacked Luke.
“Damn it!” Luke exclaimed while he tried to wave away Oskar from him. But Liz was quick enough to attack Luke which resulted in a quiet serious wound. “Ugh!” He stepped back.
Lester who saw the scene shot some arrows to Liz, but thankfully Dean guarded Liz with his defense magic.
“Thanks, guys.” Liz said to Dean and Oskar.
“Luke!” Vincent yelled as he left Leon to see if his friend was fine.
“I’m alright,” Said Luke, “But we’ve got no choice; we must step back for now. Call Claude; we’re leaving.”
“The key?”
“We’ll take it later.”
Vincent nodded as he helped Luke standing up. The leader of the villain glanced for the last time at Dean, Liz, and Leon.
Lester who heard his friends’ conversation hurriedly ran to look after Claude, while Vincent and Luke went away from the place with the help of Vincent’s magic. But before they left, Luke whispered something to Vincent which he replied with a nod. Vincent then turned around and surrounded the field with fire and in a blink, the two of them were gone.
“Oh, geez!” Leon exclaimed. The three of them tried to stop the burning fire to no avail. “What should we do, Dean?!”
“We better go down and leave this place too!”
Then Dean, Liz, and Leon left the place with Oskar leading the way down.
While they were running, Liz looked at Leon, “Hey, are you okay?”
“Yeah, just a bit tired.” Leon answered while he tried to control his breath.

Nelson ran as fast as he could, but apparently his enemy was faster than him.
“Give me the key.” Claude said in a calm but commanding tone. He drew his sword and was ready to take the key by force.
“Over my dead body!” Nelson replied.
Claude finally had enough and he started attacking continuously while Nelson could only protect himself without any slight chances to counter attack.
Suddenly an arrow was shot at Claude but the warrior repelled it with his sword.
“Hey, Nelson! You okay??” Steve who shot the arrow asked.
“Yeah, thanks!
Claude glanced at Steve and thought, “I better take the key first before the rest of them come.”
So Claude continued his non-stop attack, even fiercer and harder from his first round while still managing to take care of Steve’s arrows.
“Dang, this man’s no joke!” Steve thought.
Minutes passed by but Claude had yet to take the key from Nelson’s hand.
“Don’t underestimate me,” Nelson said in between their fight. “I’m a tactician; I’ve read all of your moves!” He continued.
Nelson and Steve’s enemy was getting frustrated, but right before he was about to attack, Lester called him from afar.
“Claude! Leave them, we gotta get out of here!”
The called person was reluctant to leave for he was determined to defeat Nelson. He growled to express his dissatisfaction.
“Claude! Luke said so!” Lester added.
“Alright, alright!”
As soon as Claude agreed, Lester threw some kind of fire ball created by Vincent at them and it didn’t take long for their surroundings to be covered in fire. Nelson and Steve tried to stop the fire just like what their comrades had done on top of the mountain earlier, but the fire didn’t budge since it was made of magic which had to be cancelled by magic as well.
“Steve!”
The called man looked up and saw Liz, Dean, and Leon running down the road while Oskar was flying above the trees.
“Are you guys okay?” Dean asked.
“Sort of…” Nelson answered. “Leon, can you extinguish this fire??”
Leon shook his head, “Sorry, my energy’s drained…”
“If that’s so then we better get out of here now!”
The five of them then ran as fast as they could to save themselves with Oskar still leading the way. A few minutes later, they arrived at the base of the mount and they decided to rest on the side of a small river.
“Who were they?” Steve asked, more like to himself than to the others.
“I have no idea, but they’re clearly targeting on the key as well.” Nelson answered.
“Key?” Liz and Steve said in unison.
“The 7 magic keys. Have you ever heard of it?”
Steve shook his head but Liz nodded. “I’ve heard of it. If I’m not mistaken, if the keys are gathered, the Gate of Doom could be opened and some kind of power will be given to the one who opened it.” She stated what she knew. Nelson nodded to sign that what she said was right.
“We were just curious, but it turns out the keys really do exist.” Dean added while looking at the key they have successfully taken—and protected.
“If that’s so, then maybe those people we met intended to take all of the keys and get that power?” Steve stated.
“Yes, maybe.” Nelson replied. “But whatever their intention is, I don’t think it’s for a good reason.” He continued.
“And they were about to take Oskar too.” Liz added as she stroked the feathers of her beloved phoenix.
“Looks like we’re going to meet them often from now on,” Leon said. “We have to make sure the keys don’t end up in their hands.”
“Well, whatever you guys are planning, we don’t have anything to do with it.” Steve said as he stood up, followed by Liz.
“You guys are leaving??” Leon asked.
“Our business is done, there’s nothing left for us to observe here. We’ll continue our journey.” Liz answered.
“Wait!” Dean exclaimed as he unconsciously held Liz’s hand. The girl turned her head in surprise. “Oh, sorry.” Said Dean when he realized what he was doing.
“Don’t mind it. Is there anything you want to say?” Liz asked.
“Uhh, well… Here, look. Do you want to join us?” Dean said with much effort. The others were quiet surprised by his question.
“Boss. Are you sure?” Nelson asked. It was the first time he had ever called Dean with the word “boss”.
“One hundred percent. They’re going to be a big help for us!” Dean answered.
“Boss?” Steve asked. He looked interested.
“We’re from a guild named Neverland, and here is our Boss, Dean.” Leon explained shortly while Dean smiled.
“So, what do you think?”
Liz and Steve looked at each other, then Liz dragged Steve a few meters away from them to discuss something they couldn’t hear.
“So?” Dean asked when the both of them—plus Oskar—came back from the discussion.
“We deicide…,” Steve started. “For now we will join you to see if your guild is suitable for us.”
Dean looked unnecessarily happy to hear that. “Good! Let’s go see the guild then!” He said as he led the way back home.

Suddenly, the same bird from before came out from the trees and perched itself again on a tree nearby.
“Oh geez, what a long walk!” The person—whom by the voice seemed like a woman—complained while her figure was still covered by the trees. Dean readied his sword.
A split second after, Dean’s sword met someone else’s sword and he had to admit he was stunned when he saw it was a young woman.
“Put your sword away!” She commanded firmly while the bird had started to chanted angrily. “Be calm, Oskar!” The girl said as she herself put away her sword, so did Dean.
“Lizzy!!” Called the mysterious man. The girl called Lizzy turned her attention to him.
“Ah, there you are, Steve. What’s this all about, seriously?” She asked.
The mysterious man—who now they all knew was named Steve—got off from the branch he was standing on since they met. “These are the culprits we’ve been searching for.” He explained as he glanced at Leon, Nelson, and Dean.
Lizzy stared at the three men in silence. “Why are you ruining this forest?” She asked, calm but sharp. Her hands were on her swords—yes, two swords.
“Whoa, whoa, calm down, there!” Leon said, trying to settle down the situation. “We were on the influence of a—bad—magic that moment; a quiet strong ancient magic kind of hypnotized us. To make it a little bit clearer, we felt like… We turned greedy and wanted to take everything. Yeah, like that!” He continued with an explanation. He hoped he was clear enough.
It wasn’t just clear; it actually shocked Lizzy. “You guys came to the top of the mount?!” She asked. She could be surprised, but her hands were still ready with her swords. Steve couldn’t let down his guard as well.
All three members of Neverland nodded. “So uhh… Lizzy?” Dean tried to strike another conversation by making sure that her name was Lizzy. However it made the bird—which they believed name Oskar—chanted angrily in front of Dean’s face.
“Oskar, calm the hell down! Oskar!” Lizzy shouted. Oskar the bird obeyed her and it perched on Lizzy’s shoulder. “I apologize, he doesn’t like if someone calls me Lizzy. My real name is Liz, so you can call me that. Oskar won’t mind then.” She explain as she stroked Oskar’s shiny feathers.
“O-okay,” Dean replied, still stuttering.
“When I first called her with that name, Oskar scratched me, leaving a pretty big wound.” Steve said as he grinned. He then put down his crossbow. “Oh, my name’s Steve.” He added.
“Do you trust us?” Asked Dean when he saw the both of them put away their weapons.
“At least I trust you. And about the top of the mount, I do feel something’s strange about that place.” Steve said while Liz nodded.
“Oskar doesn’t mind being close to you, that’s enough proof that you’re not influenced anymore.” She said. “And for this time, we’re gonna accompany you to the top of the mount.”
Her statement got the three adventures surprised. “Y-you’re willing to?” Leon asked.
“Just to make sure you won’t ruin this place anymore.” Steve added.
“We really appreciate your help! It’s really hard to point a direction in this forest.” Dean thanked the both of them.
So now Dean, Leon, and Nelson continued their journey. And this time they were accompanied by Liz and Steve.
“Uhm… Liz?” Dean called.
The girl turned her head. “What’s wrong?” She asked calmly.
“Actually, what kind of bird is Oskar?”
The said creature chanted angrily at Dean again for it felt annoyed. Liz quickly stroke his feathers to calm him down as she stared at Dean sharply.
“Oh, sorry it was my fault. You don’t have to answer.” Dean immediately added.
Steve chuckled at the scene. “Don’t mind him, that bird is a little bit over-sensitive.” He said, causing Oskar to chant again.
“Steve!!” Liz yelled at him. The man grinned and continued walking as if nothing had happened. “Oskar is a phoenix.” Liz answered Dean’s question.
Nelson was the one who responded first, “Phoenix? Aren’t they near extinction? And I heard they usually don’t want to be seen by human.”
“Oskar’s different. Liz found an egg with him in it five years ago, three years before she met me.” Steve explained.
“You’ve been together for two years?” Dean couldn’t help but ask. Hearing the odd question, the other turned their attention to Dean. “No, I don’t mean…,” He added quickly so no one would misunderstood—which he honestly admit in his heart that they didn’t.
“Yeah, two years of torture.” Steve dramatized, causing Liz to immediately step on his feet.
“Why did you follow me, then?” The girl protested.
“Can you even do this without me?”
“Isn’t it the opposite?”
“Whoa, you guys are so close.” Nelson commented innocently.
“No, we’re not!” Both Steve and Liz answered in unison.
“There, there, stop it.” Dean interrupted, just like he would have done if the members of his guild quarreled. “We’re almost there.”
“Really??” Leon said in disbelief for he had almost out of breath. Dean replied by nodding and pointing at their front side.
“Actually, what’s your purpose of coming here? Especially to that dangerous place.” Steve asked out of curiosity.
“We’ve got some business.” Nelson answered shortly. Leon could feel that his comrade was starting to get controlled by the same magic they experienced minutes before. He reminded himself not to give in to the magic.
Alarmed by its animal instinct, Oskar flew away from Liz’s shoulder as soon as they arrived at the top of the mount. It was a large field covered in grass and trees.
“Hurry and finish your business here, we’re going to guide you on the way down the mount as well!” Liz commanded.
Her hands were ready on her swords again while Steve readied his crossbow, anticipating the worst scenario.
“O-okay!” Leon replied as he quickly ran to search for they key they were looking for.
For a few minutes later, silence took over the place they were standing on. None of them spoke a word. Leon, Dean, and Nelson were busy searching while Liz and Steve were observing and guarding the place.
“I have a bad feeling.” Liz said to Steve.
The guy exhaled, “I hate it when you say that.” He said as he fixed the position of his crossbow.
“I found it!” Nelson shouted. Then he ran to meet his comrades.
“Have you guys finished everything?” Steve asked in rush. When Nelson nodded enthusiastically, he continued speaking. “Good. Let’s get down now because Liz is having a bad feeling.”
Before the three of them could figure out what Steve was trying to say, they heard Liz’s shout. “Who’s there?!”
Everybody turned their attention to where Liz was looking; a tree. Oskar had also come back, ready to fight alongside its master.
“Why are you here too?” Liz asked to her loyal bird. But Oskar didn’t want to go.
“Liz, what’s wrong?” Asked Steve as he approached Liz. Before he arrived, a sound was heard from behind the tree.
“Whoa, turn out we don’t just get the key, but we get another bonus!” Said someone as he came from behind the tree, followed by another three men.
“Who’re you?!” Nelson yelled as he, Dean, and also Leon readied their respective weapon. The man smiled—a tricky and unfriendly smile.
“Before you ask for somebody else’s identity, you better introduce your own self, Nelson.” Another man in white coat said sarcastically.
“How do you know my na—“
“Vincent’s right,” The man they encountered first cut off Nelson’s words. “My name is Luke.”
The man in white coat—whose name was Vincent—sighed in frustration. “I wasn’t talking about you, Luke.”
“Come on, guys. We’re not here for this.” Another unknown man in blue coat interrupted.
“Come on, Claude. Introduce yourself too.” Luke commanded. It was clear he was playing around with his enemies, but he kept a serious face.
“What’s wrong with you guys??” The last man spoke up.
“Lester, you too!” Luke seemed to be enjoying his game, causing his comrades; Vincent, Claude, and Lester looked at each other while shaking their head in disbelief.
“Luke, let’s just take care of the key, shouldn’t we?” Vincent suggested, reminding his friend back on what they had intended to do—before it got ruined by Luke.
“Honestly, we don’t want to create a ruckus, so just hand us the key.” Claude said directly.
“And don’t forget about the phoenix. Hand us that too.” Luke who seemed like the leader of the group added, causing Liz and Steve to draw their weapon on him almost immediately.
“You wish!” Liz exclaimed.
“We’re not gonna let you have the key either!” Nelson added.
“Well then, guess we just have to take it by force.” Lester replied as he aimed his bow at them as he made a space in between.
Steve whispered to his partner, “I’ll guard the back.”
“Five against four, huh?” Luke commented. He himself didn’t seem to be worried about the fact that they were outnumbered.
“Oskar, go!” Liz commanded. The bird didn’t want to leave, but it obeyed Liz anyway.
In a split second, Liz’s double swords had collided with Luke’s long sword. Dean was taken aback and was about to help, but his step was stopped by Claude.
“Right, one on one sounds fair.” Dean said when his and Claude’s sword met. The villain didn’t say a word and just continued launching attacks. “Tsk…!” Dean mumbled.
On the other hand, Vincent was ready to attack Nelson—whom he believed was holding the key. However Leon wouldn’t let anything bad to happen, so he quickly rushed in to help Nelson. Nelson himself was overwhelmed for he was fighting against a wizard.
“Run!” Leon commanded Nelson as he took over the fight.
“Earth element possessor.” Vincent mumbled, but loud enough for Leon to hear it.
“And you’re an ice element possessor.” Leon replied as he defended himself from Vincent’s attack.
Vincent smirked, “Wrong.” He said as he launched several attacks on Leon with all kind of elements; from Fire to Earth, five elements in total.
Leon who only possessed one element surely wasn’t on the same level with Vincent, but he refused to give up. “I am a master of the Earth element, while you are just a multi-possessor!” He said in confident.
On the other hand…
“Luke!” Lester called in between his fight against Steve. “He escapes! The one carrying the key!” He continued.
Luke only switched his attention to Lester for about a second, but Liz could find a gap to counter attack him.
“Tsk…!” Luke mumbled when he was attacked. “Claude! Chase him!” He commanded. Claude complied and immediately chased after Nelson.
Dean was a second away from chasing Claude, but Liz shouted first, “Steve! Go to Nelson!” Steve nodded and he ran after the two of them. “You better help Leon.” Liz continued when Dean was about to help her. Dean agreed and he went to where Leon was fighting against Vincent.
“A very clever thought, young lady.” Luke mocked her. “But you’re not gonna be able to defeat me alone!”
“Yeah, that’s right.” Liz responded calmly. Right at that time, Oskar flew towards them and attacked Luke.
“Damn it!” Luke exclaimed while he tried to wave away Oskar from him. But Liz was quick enough to attack Luke which resulted in a quiet serious wound. “Ugh!” He stepped back.
Lester who saw the scene shot some arrows to Liz, but thankfully Dean guarded Liz with his defense magic.
“Thanks, guys.” Liz said to Dean and Oskar.
“Luke!” Vincent yelled as he left Leon to see if his friend was fine.
“I’m alright,” Said Luke, “But we’ve got no choice; we must step back for now. Call Claude; we’re leaving.”
“The key?”
“We’ll take it later.”
Vincent nodded as he helped Luke standing up. The leader of the villain glanced for the last time at Dean, Liz, and Leon.
Lester who heard his friends’ conversation hurriedly ran to look after Claude, while Vincent and Luke went away from the place with the help of Vincent’s magic. But before they left, Luke whispered something to Vincent which he replied with a nod. Vincent then turned around and surrounded the field with fire and in a blink, the two of them were gone.
“Oh, geez!” Leon exclaimed. The three of them tried to stop the burning fire to no avail. “What should we do, Dean?!”
“We better go down and leave this place too!”
Then Dean, Liz, and Leon left the place with Oskar leading the way down.
While they were running, Liz looked at Leon, “Hey, are you okay?”
“Yeah, just a bit tired.” Leon answered while he tried to control his breath.

Nelson ran as fast as he could, but apparently his enemy was faster than him.
“Give me the key.” Claude said in a calm but commanding tone. He drew his sword and was ready to take the key by force.
“Over my dead body!” Nelson replied.
Claude finally had enough and he started attacking continuously while Nelson could only protect himself without any slight chances to counter attack.
Suddenly an arrow was shot at Claude but the warrior repelled it with his sword.
“Hey, Nelson! You okay??” Steve who shot the arrow asked.
“Yeah, thanks!
Claude glanced at Steve and thought, “I better take the key first before the rest of them come.”
So Claude continued his non-stop attack, even fiercer and harder from his first round while still managing to take care of Steve’s arrows.
“Dang, this man’s no joke!” Steve thought.
Minutes passed by but Claude had yet to take the key from Nelson’s hand.
“Don’t underestimate me,” Nelson said in between their fight. “I’m a tactician; I’ve read all of your moves!” He continued.
Nelson and Steve’s enemy was getting frustrated, but right before he was about to attack, Lester called him from afar.
“Claude! Leave them, we gotta get out of here!”
The called person was reluctant to leave for he was determined to defeat Nelson. He growled to express his dissatisfaction.
“Claude! Luke said so!” Lester added.
“Alright, alright!”
As soon as Claude agreed, Lester threw some kind of fire ball created by Vincent at them and it didn’t take long for their surroundings to be covered in fire. Nelson and Steve tried to stop the fire just like what their comrades had done on top of the mountain earlier, but the fire didn’t budge since it was made of magic which had to be cancelled by magic as well.
“Steve!”
The called man looked up and saw Liz, Dean, and Leon running down the road while Oskar was flying above the trees.
“Are you guys okay?” Dean asked.
“Sort of…” Nelson answered. “Leon, can you extinguish this fire??”
Leon shook his head, “Sorry, my energy’s drained…”
“If that’s so then we better get out of here now!”
The five of them then ran as fast as they could to save themselves with Oskar still leading the way. A few minutes later, they arrived at the base of the mount and they decided to rest on the side of a small river.
“Who were they?” Steve asked, more like to himself than to the others.
“I have no idea, but they’re clearly targeting on the key as well.” Nelson answered.
“Key?” Liz and Steve said in unison.
“The 7 magic keys. Have you ever heard of it?”
Steve shook his head but Liz nodded. “I’ve heard of it. If I’m not mistaken, if the keys are gathered, the Gate of Doom could be opened and some kind of power will be given to the one who opened it.” She stated what she knew. Nelson nodded to sign that what she said was right.
“We were just curious, but it turns out the keys really do exist.” Dean added while looking at the key they have successfully taken—and protected.
“If that’s so, then maybe those people we met intended to take all of the keys and get that power?” Steve stated.
“Yes, maybe.” Nelson replied. “But whatever their intention is, I don’t think it’s for a good reason.” He continued.
“And they were about to take Oskar too.” Liz added as she stroked the feathers of her beloved phoenix.
“Looks like we’re going to meet them often from now on,” Leon said. “We have to make sure the keys don’t end up in their hands.”
“Well, whatever you guys are planning, we don’t have anything to do with it.” Steve said as he stood up, followed by Liz.
“You guys are leaving??” Leon asked.
“Our business is done, there’s nothing left for us to observe here. We’ll continue our journey.” Liz answered.
“Wait!” Dean exclaimed as he unconsciously held Liz’s hand. The girl turned her head in surprise. “Oh, sorry.” Said Dean when he realized what he was doing.
“Don’t mind it. Is there anything you want to say?” Liz asked.
“Uhh, well… Here, look. Do you want to join us?” Dean said with much effort. The others were quiet surprised by his question.
“Boss. Are you sure?” Nelson asked. It was the first time he had ever called Dean with the word “boss”.
“One hundred percent. They’re going to be a big help for us!” Dean answered.
“Boss?” Steve asked. He looked interested.
“We’re from a guild named Neverland, and here is our Boss, Dean.” Leon explained shortly while Dean smiled.
“So, what do you think?”
Liz and Steve looked at each other, then Liz dragged Steve a few meters away from them to discuss something they couldn’t hear.
“So?” Dean asked when the both of them—plus Oskar—came back from the discussion.
“We deicide…,” Steve started. “For now we will join you to see if your guild is suitable for us.”
Dean looked unnecessarily happy to hear that. “Good! Let’s go see the guild then!” He said as he led the way back home.

[BEHIND THE SCENE] Fate
Fanfic ini entah apakah saya lagi kesamber petir atau bagaimana, tiba-tiba terlintas saja di pikiran untuk membuat Fanfic ini.

Sesosok manusia menatap Namimori Middle School dengan
pandangan tertarik dari dalam sebuah mobil mewah. “Hmm.. Jadi ini kah sekolah
tersebut?? Menarik.. Sungguh menarik..”

“Yamamoto!!”
Sang pemuda yang merasa dipanggil pun menoleh dan mendapati
temannya sedang berlari ke arah dirinya.
“Oh Tsuna! Ada apa?” Tanya Yamamoto dengan senyum lebar
terpasang di wajahnya. Yamamoto Takeshi, ace dari klub baseball, salah satu
anggota kelas 2A di Namimori Middle School, dan tentu saja, sang Guardian of
Rain dari Vongola Decimo family.
“Ku dengar kau diberi tugas tambahan dari para guru. Apakah
itu benar??” Tanya Tsuna. Sawada Tsunayoshi, salah satu murid kelas 2A bersama
Yamamoto. Orang yang ceroboh dan sama sekali tidak bisa apa apa, namun ia
sebenarnya adalah sang Vongola Decimo.
“Ah ya begitulah. Aku gagal dalam test kemarin, jadi untuk
membantu nilaiku, pak guru memberikanku tugas tambahan..” Jawab Yamamoto dengan
santainya, seakan akan dia hanya membicarakan tentang cuaca hari ini.
“Jyudaime mengkhawatirkanmu dasar baseball freak!! Tunjukan
sedikit hormat!!” Omel pemuda lainnya yang kali ini berambut perak abu-abu.
“Sudah Gokudera-kun, tidak apa apa. Ha.. hahaha..” Kata Tsuna
sedikit panik melihat Gokudera. Gokudera Hayato, salah satu anggota kelas 2A
juga. Ia sangat protective terhadap Tsuna, bossnya. Yup, tepat, Gokudera adalah
member Vongola decimo family juga, sebagai Guardian of Storm.
“Tapi kau hebat Tsuna, bisa lolos dari test sulit itu..” Kata
Yamamoto penuh kekaguman, namun di artikan hal lain oleh Gokudera.
“Apa maksudmu?! Jadi menurutmu Jyudaime tidak bisa
mengerjakan test itu?! Jangan samakan ia dengan dirimu!!” Kata Gokudera sambil
langsung berdiri di depan Yamamoto dengan posisi siap bertarung. “Kau bisa melakukannya dengan mudah, benar
bukan Jyudaime??” Lanjutnya sambil lalu berbalik dan tersenyum pada Tsuna.
“Tidak kok!! Ini semua berkat bantuan mu dan Reborn,
Gokudera-kun!!” Kata Tsuna, berusaha memisahkan Gokudera dari Yamamoto.
“Jyudaime, kau.. kau benar benar rendah hati..!!” Kata
Gokudera seraya mengelap tangis harunya, yang membuat Tsuna sedikit illfeel
sementara Yamamoto hanya tertawa.
“Well, aku harus pergi sekarang. Kalian pulanglah duluan!!”
Kata Yamomoto sambil hendak melanjutkan apa yang tadi terhenti, berjalan ke
arah ruang guru.
“Baiklah, semoga berhasil!!” Balas Tsuna, “Ayo Gokudera-kun,
kita pulang..” Lanjut Tsuna sambil setengah mendorong Gokudera.
Yamamoto tersenyum melihat kedua sahabatnya dan melanjutkan
berjalan ke ruang guru. Baru saja ia hendak mengetuk pintu ruangan tersebut,
terdengar suara dari dalam.
“Terima kasih karena telah memilih sekolah kami, Hamano-san..”
“Suara pak
kepala sekolah?” Pikir Yamamoto, heran mengapa sang kepala sekolah ada
di ruang guru dan bukan di ruangannya sendiri.
“Mulai besok, kau akan di tempatkan di kelas 2A, ini Ohkuchi-sensei
yang akan menjadi homeroom teacher mu..”
Yamamoto langsung memberanikan diri mengetuk pintu saat nama
kelasnya di sebut. “Permisi..” Kata Yamamoto sambil membuka pintu.
“Ah Yamamoto! Pas sekali..” Kata Ohkuchi-sensei, homeroom
teacher kelas 2A. Yamamoto menatap gurunya itu, lalu ke arah sesosok manusia
yang asing di matanya.
“Ini Hamano Miharu, besok ia akan menjadi teman sekelasmu.
Bantu dia ya!!” Kata Ohkuchi-sensei lagi.
Hamano Miharu, seorang gadis dengan rambut cokelat tua di
ikat ponytail ke belakang. Ia tersenyum manis pada Yamamoto, yang hanya bisa
bengong saja.
“Hamano Miharu, senang bertemu denganmu..” Kata Miharu sambil
menjulurkan tangannya pada Yamamoto, mengajak bersalaman.
“Yamamoto Takeshi, senang berkenalan denganmu juga..” Balas
Yamamoto sambil menyambut ajakan bersalaman itu.
“Baiklah, Yamamoto, kau yang bertugas membantu Hamano-san..”
Kata Ohkuchi-sensei, “Anggap saja ini tugasmu untuk membantu nilaimu itu!!”
lanjut Ohkuchi-sensei.
“Eh? Ba-Baik!!” Jawab Yamamoto.
“Kurasa semuanya sudah di atur Hamano-san, perlu saya antar
keluar??” Tanya pak kepala sekolah. “Tidak usah pak, saya bisa sendiri. Bapak
pasti sibuk, saya tidak mau menggangu bapak..” Jawab Miharu sopan.
“Baiklah kalau begitu. Semoga kau menikmati hari-harimu
disini..” Kata Pak kepala sekolah yang kemudian pamit dan pergi dari ruang
guru.
Dan sesaat kemudian, setelah pamit dan berbasa basi sebentar,
Yamamoto dan sang murid baru, Hamano Miharu keluar dari ruang guru.
“Ee.. Jadi.. Hamano-san?” Tanya Yamamoto saat mereka berada
di depan ruang guru.
“Miharu saja..”
“Eh?”
“Panggil Miharu saja cukup..” Kata Miharu sekali lagi sambil
tersenyum menatap Yamamoto.
“Baiklah, Miharu-san, apakah ada yang ingin kau tanyakan
tentang sekolah ini?” Tanya Yamamoto. Miharu berpikir sejenak dan menggeleng.
“Aku sudah mendapat gambaran seluk beluk sekolah dari pak
kepala sekolah, jadi ku pikir, tidak ada yang ingin kutanyakan untuk saat ini.
Mungkin besok akan muncul sesuatu, terima kasih Yamamoto-san..” Kata Miharu
dengan riang.
“Ojou-sama!!”
Serentak Miharu dan Yamamoto menoleh dan mendapati seorang
pria muda yang tegap lari menghampiri mereka. Tampaknya ia masih berumur
sekitar 20 tahun.
“Ojou-sama, mengapa anda tidak bilang bahwa anda pergi ke
sekolah hari ini??” Kata pria tersebut. Yamamoto tampak heran, namun wajah
Miharu di hiasi senyuman nakal.
“Jika aku memberi tahumu, apa kau akan mengijinkanku??”
“Tentu saja tidak!!”
“Dan kau sudah tahu alasannya Tatsuya..”
“Ojou-sama!!” Kata pria tersebut, Tatsuya. “Apa yang akan
tuan muda lakukan pada saya jika ia mengetahui tentang hal ini??”
“Jangan beri tahu kalau begitu..” Balas Miharu sambil
tersenyum jail. Yamamoto hanya bisa memandang kedua orang itu dengan heran.
Miharu melihat ekspresi kebingungan Yamamoto, “Ah iya, ini
Tatsuya, Isaka Tatsuya.” Kata Miharu, mengenalkan pria itu pada Yamamoto.
“Dan Tatsuya, ini Yamamoto Takeshi-san. Ia yang akan
membantuku selama di sekolah..” Lanjut Miharu. Baik Yamamoto dan Tatsuya saling
menjabat tangan.
“Saya butler di keluarga Hamano, panggil saya Tatsuya saja.
Mohon bantuan anda untuk menjaga ojou-sana selama di sekolah, Yamamoto-sama..”
Kata Tatsuya kemudian sambil membungkuk.
“Apa maksudmu itu?” Tanya Miharu sambil memukul tangan Tatsuya.
“Tidak ada salahnya meminta tenaga bantuan untuk menjagamu,
Ojou-sama..” Kata Tatsuya. Ia kemudian memeriksa jam tangannya.
“Sudah waktunya pulang, atau yang lain akan khawatir,
Ojou-sama…” Kata Tatsuya lagi sambil berusaha mengambil tas yang tadi di bawa
oleh Miharu.
“Baiklah..” Kata Miharu, sambil mempertahankan tasnya dalam
genggamannya. “Biar saya bawa Ojou-sama..” Kata Tatsuya.

“Tidak ada tapi atau aku akan kabur lagi..”
Tatsuya menghela nafas melihat kelakukan Miharu “Baiklah..
Ayo kita pulang..”
Miharu tersenyum melihat butlernya kalah lagi dengannya.
“Ayo.. Sampai jumpa besok Yamamoto-san!!” Kata Miharu sambil melambaikan
tangannya pada Yamamoto, yang di balas dengan lambaian tangan juga oleh
Yamamoto.
Tatsuya hanya membungkuk sopan pada Yamamoto dan kemudian
berjalan di sebelah Miharu, sambil masih berusaha mendapatkan tasnya.
Yamamoto memperhatikan kedua orang itu hingga mereka hilang
dari pandangan, lalu ia menggaruk kepalanya yang sebenarnya tidak gatal itu.
Masih dengan ekspresi keheranan ia pulang ke rumah dengan berbagai pikiran
melintas di kepalanya.

“Yamamoto!! Pagi!!” Sapa Tsuna. Yamamoto menoleh, “Pagi!!”
Balasnya sambil tersenyum lebar. Mereka bertiga, ya bertiga, karena Gokudera
yang membuntut di belakang Tsuna menolak untuk menyapa Yamamoto, sedang berada
tepat di gerbang sekolah, siap untuk kembali belajar di Namimori Middle School.
“Bagaimana dengan tugasmu kemarin??” Tanya Tsuna. Yamamoto
terdiam, bingung bagaimana untuk menjawabnya.
“Yamamoto-sama!!”
Serentak ketiga orang yang sedang mengobrol itu menoleh.
Bahka beberapa kepala pun ikut menoleh melihat keributan di pagi hari ini.
“Tatsuya-san!!... Benar kan??” Tanya Yamamoto ragu. Tatsuya
pun tersenyum di celah celah tarikan nafasnya.
“Benar.. Kau melihat ojou-sama pagi ini??” Tanya Tatsuya,
sepertinya Miharu kabur darinya lagi.
“Tidak, ada apa??” Balas Yamamoto, sementara Tsuna dan
Gokudera hanya bisa diam keheranan. Beberapa siswa lain pun menonton, bahkan
beberapa siswi melihat Tatsuya dan memfotonya. Tidak aneh, melihat muka Tatsuya
yang masuk dalam kategori ‘tampan’.
“Saat saya sedang mempersiapkan mobil, ia tiba tiba
menghilang lagi..” Kata Tatsuya, “Apa jangan jangan ia di culik??”
“Te-tenanglah..” Kata Yamamoto berusaha menenangkan Tatsuya
yang panik, tiba tiba ia melihat sesosok gadis berambut cokelat tua berlari dan
segera bersembunyi di semak semak.
“Mi-“ Kata Yamamoto saat mengenali sosok itu, namun gadis
itu, Miharu, menempelkan jari telunjuknya di mulut, meminta Yamamoto untuk
diam.
“Ada apa??” Tanya Tatsuya.
“Ti-tidak.. Mungkin ia sudah masuk sekolah. Akan kucari dia,
tidak usah khawatir.. ha.. haha..” Kata Yamamoto tertawa gugup.
“Baiklah.. Kuserahkan ia padamu Yamamoto-sama..” Kata
Tatsuya, “Oh ya, tolong telepon nomor ini bila kau menemukannya..” Lanjutnya
sambil memberikan sebuah kartu nama.
“Akan ku telepon..” Kata Yamamoto menyakinkan. Tatsuya pun
mengangguk dan membungkuk sopan kemudian berbalik dan melangkah pergi.
“Siapa tadi Yamamoto??” Tanya Tsuna heran. “Penjelasannya ada
disini…” Kata Yamamoto sambil menghampiri semak semak tempat Miharu sembunyi.
Sambil tersenyum jail, Miharu keluar dari semak semak,
membuat Tsuna dan Gokudera kaget.
“Terima kasih Yamamoto-san..” Kata Miharu sambil membersihkan
daun-daun yang menempel di bajunya.
“Kau kabur lagi darinya?” Tanya Yamamoto. “Jika tidak, ia
akan bersikeras mengantarku sampai ke depan ruang guru. Dan itu akan
memalukan..” Jawab Miharu.
“Oi Yamamoto, jelaskan siapa ini??” Tanya Gokudera sambil
menatap Miharu lekat lekat.
“Ah, maaf. Namaku Hamano Miharu, mulai saat ini aku adalah
murid di sekolah ini..” Kata Miharu sambil membungkuk sopan.
“Ah, namaku Sawada Tsunayoshi. Senang berkenalan denganmu..”
Balas Tsuna sambil membungkuk juga.
Melihat tindakan bosnya, Gokudera juga memperkenalkan
dirinya. “Gokudera Hayato..” Katanya singkat.
Tiba-tiba bel berbunyi nyaring. “Miharu-san, kau harus segera
ke ruang guru..” Kata Yamamoto. “Ah! Iya aku lupa..” Kata Miharu sambil
berjalan pergi.
Namun baru beberapa langkah, ia berbalik, “Ruang guru dimana
ya??” Tanya Miharu polos.
“Akan ku antar.. Kalian pergi ke kelas duluan saja!!” Kata
Yamamoto sambil berlari mengejar Miharu, dan kalimat terakhir itu di tujukan
pada Tsuna dan Gokudera.
“Langsung namanya?” Tanya Tsuna heran, melihat Yamamoto
memanggil Miharu langsung dengan namanya, bukan dengan nama keluarga.
“Ia memang selalu seperti itu. Tidak peduli dengan orang
lain. Ayo Jyudaime, kita pergi ke kelas..”

“Jadi, mohon bantuannya..” Kata Miharu setelah ia mengenalkan
diri di depan murid murid kelas 2A, yang di sambut dengan tepuk tangan yang
hangat.
“Dan yang bertugas untuk membantunya selama di sekolah ini..”
Kata Ohkuchi-sensei mengumumkan, dan serempak beberapa tangan para murid laki-laki
melesat ke atas.
“Hahahaha.. Sayangnya hal ini sudah di putuskan sejak
kemarin..” Kata Ohkuchi-sensei sambil tertawa melihat tingkah muridnya.
“Yamamoto, kuharap kau melakukannya dengan baik..”
“Percayalah pada saya sensei!!” Kata Yamamoto sambil mengacungkan
jempolnya, di sambut dengan teriakan protes murid lain.
“Ah.. Itu sebabnya Yamamoto mengenalnya lebih dahulu..” Gumam
Tsuna. “Ada apa Tsuna-kun??” Tanya Kyoko.
“Eh, tidak apa apa Kyoko-chan!!” Balas Tsuna sambil menatap
Kyoko dengan muka merah. Sasawaga Kyoko, adalah gadis yang baik dan pintar. Ia
lah yang Tsuna taksir sejak mereka kelas 1. Ia juga merupakan adik dari
Sasagawa Ryohei, kapten team boxing.
“Hamano-san, silahkan duduk di sana..” Kata Ohkuchi-sensei
sambil menunjuk kursi di sebelah Gokudera.
“Salam kenal.. Gokudera-san, kan??” Kata Miharu hati-hati
saat menyapa Gokudera. Gokudera hanya mengangguk dingin pada gadis itu tanpa
mengatakan hal apa apa.
Setelah beberapa pelajaran, bel istirahat pun berbunyi.
“Hamano-san, kau mau makan siang bersama??” Tanya Kyoko sopan
pada Miharu. Kyoko mengahampiri meja Miharu bersama dengan Hana dan Chrome.
“Panggil aku Miharu saja. Benarkah aku boleh makan siang
bersama kalian? Terima kasih!!” Kata Miharu riang sambil berdiri dan tersenyum
riang.
“Ah iya. Kami belum memperkenal kan diri. Namaku Sasagawa
Kyoko, ini Chrome Dokuro dan Kurokawa Hana..” Kata Kyoko sambil memperkenalkan
teman temannya.
“Salam kenal..” Kata Hana dan Chrome bersamaan. “Kau bisa
panggil kami Kyoko, Chrome dan Hana..” Lanjut Kyoko sambil tersenyum.
‘Baiklah!!” Kata Miharu, “Ah, Tsuna-kun! Mau bergabung
bersama kami?” Kata Kyoko saat melihat Tsuna berdiri dari kursinya.
“Bo-boleh..” Kata Tsuna, mukanya memerah.
Dan beberapa menit kemudian, Miharu, Kyoko, Chrome, Hana,
Tsuna, Gokudera, Yamamoto dan seorang pemuda berambut abu abu duduk di atap
untuk menyantap bekal mereka bersama-sama.
“Onii-chan, sejak kapan kau bergabung dengan kami??” Kata
Kyoko heran saat melihat kakaknya, Sasagawa Ryohei tiba-tiba sudah bersama
mereka.
“Tidak apa apa bukan Kyoko..!!” Kata Ryohei dengan senyuman
khasnya mengembang di mukanya. Sasagawa Ryohei, pemuda yang selalu bersemangat
dalam hal apa pun. Sedikit bodoh, tapi ia sangan menyanyangi adiknya, Kyoko.
Seperti Yamamoto dan Gokudera, ia juga seorang Guardian, Guardian of Sun.
Di tempat itu juga ada seorang guardian lagi, yaitu Chrome
Dokuro. Ia, bersama pemuda bernama Rokudo Mukuro adalah sang Guardian of Mist.
Chrome adalah gadis pemalu yang baik hati. Ia tidak mempunyai organ dalam, dan
saat ini tubuhnya di topang dengan bantuan dari Mukuro.
Miharu memperhatikan keramaian yang di timbulkan teman-teman
barunya, ia hanya diam saja memperhatikan.
“Kau tidak apa apa??” Tanya Yamamoto yang menyadari hal itu.
“Apa? Oh tidak, aku tidak apa apa. Hanya saja, ini pertama
kalinya aku memakan bekal bersama..” Kata Miharu sambil tersenyum senang.
“Pertama kalinya??”
“Iya, sebelumnya aku home schooling..”
“Itu sebabnya Tatsuya-san sangat khawatir denganmu..”
“Ia terlalu khawatir..” Kata Miharu sambil tertawa kecil.
“Aku harus mengurus sesuatu, aku pergi dulu ya..” Kata Hana
sambil melambaikan tangannya pada semua orang dan berdiri kemudian melangkah
pergi.
“Jyudaime, apakah Reborn-san sudah kembali??” Tanya Gokudera
saat mereka semua selesai melambaikan tangan pada Hana.
“Belum..” Kata Tsuna. “Reborn-san??” Tanya Miharu, satu
satunya yang tidak mengenal Reborn disitu.
“Ah, dia teman kami..” Kata Tsuna dengan gugup. “Dia sedang
bertugas ke Italy, dan karena ia serumah dengan Tsuna-kun, jadi kami menanyakan
tentangnya pada Tsuna..” Kata Kyoko.
“Ah, kakakku juga sedang pergi ke Italy. Entah apa katanya
apabila ia balik dan mengetahui bahwa aku masuk sekolah biasa..” Kata Miharu.
“Kakakmu ketat juga ya..” Komentar Ryohei.
Miharu tertawa, “Benar sekali. Karena kedua orang tua kami
selalu sibuk, kakakku yang selalu menjagaku. Dan kadang ia terlalu
overprotective..”
“Ah, bel berbunyi..” Kata Kyoko, dan mereka semua segera
mambereskan bekal mereka dan kembali berlari ke kelas.
Dan setelah kembali menjalani beberapa pelajaran hingga
siang, bel pulang pun berbunyi dan seluruh murid segera meninggalkan kelas.
“Miharu-chan, mau pulang bersama??” Tanya Kyoko.
“Boleh.. Dimana Hana dan Chrome??” Kata Miharu saat melihat
kedua gadis itu idak ada di situ.
“Hana-chan sibuk dan Chrome-chan harus mengurus sesuatu
sehingga ia pulang duluan.” Jelas Kyoko yang di jawab dengan anggukan Miharu.
“Baiklah.. Ayo kita pulang..” Kata Miharu sambil berjalan
keluar kelas bersama Kyoko.
“Kau tidak di jemput Tatsuya-san?” Tanya Yamamoto dari
belakang Miharu, membuat gadis itu melompat kaget.
“Astaga Yamamoto-san, jangan membuat kaget seperti itu..”
Kata Miharu.
“Maaf maaf..” Kata Yamamoto sambil tertawa. “Jadi, kau tidak
di jemput Tatsuya-san??”
“Tidak, aku memberi tahunya bahwa aku pulang sekolah 2 jam lagi..”
Kata Miharu membuat Yamamoto tertawa.
“Ini baca..” Kata Yamamoto sambil menunjukan handphonenya.

Yamamoto-sama,
maaf merepotkanmu lagi. Karena tampaknya Ojou-sama tidak ingin aku menjemputnya.(Ia menipuku dengan mengatakan
bahwa ia pulang sekolah lebih sore) Bisa kah kau mengantarnya pulang? Terima
kasih banyak.
Miharu membacanya beberapa kali seakan akan tidak percaya apa
yang ia baca itu. “Dia ini..” Kata Miharu kesal sambil mengembalikan handphone
Yamamoto. “Dari mana kau mendapatkan nomornya?”
“Ia memberikanku nomor teleponnya, dan aku meneleponnya tadi
pagi, setelah mengantarkanmu ke ruang guru. Untuk mengabarkan bahwa kau baik
baik saja.” Jawab Yamamoto santai. “Jadi, karena aku tidak ingin di bunuh oleh Tatsuya-san, ayo
kita pulang bersama..”
“Oh ya, mereka juga ikut..” Kata Yamamoto lagi
sambil menunjuk Tsuna dan Gokudera yang berada di belakangnya.
“Aku tidak punya pilihan lain bukan??” Kata Miharu. “Ku harap
kau tidak keberatan Sasagawa..” Kata Yamamoto pada Kyoko.
“Tentu saja tidak..” Jawab Kyoko.
“Bagus.. Kalau begitu.. Ayo pulang!!”

-Beberapa
hari sebelum Miharu masuk ke Namimori Middle School-
“Kau bercanda!!” Teriak seorang pemuda dengan rambut cokelat
susu.
“Tidak, sayangnya aku tidak bercanda. Ia harus menerimanya,
itu takdirnya..” Balas lawan bicaranya.
Di dalam ruangan ini ada 3 sosok yang semuanya adalah
laki-laki. Sang pemuda berambut susu itu tampaknya sangat kesal dengan hasil
perundingan mereka.
“Ia terlalu muda!!”
“Yang akan menjadi partner partnernya juga berumur
sama..” Kata pria yang menjadi lawan
bicara sang pemuda tadi. “Kita tidak bisa menunda lagi untuk mengumumkannya, ku
serahkan padamu, Reborn..”
Sosok ketiga mengangkan topinya sedikit agar bisa melihat
lebih jelas, “Tentu saja, percayakan padaku..”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....."
Di siang
hari yang panas itu, sebuah suara ketawa yang berasal dari daerah yang hijau
semua memecah keheningan.
Daerah
hijau itu tentu saja Kebun Raya Bogor, dan suara itu tentu saja...siapa lagi
kalau bukan bintang utama kita...
Yang
paling pelupa kedua setelah Ukitake, yang telah berkhianat bersama Gin dan
Tosen, yak!! Itu adalah Aisen-Taucho kita!! eh, maaf..Aizen-Taicho maksud saya.
Kenapa dia bisa tertawa histeris seperti itu??
Dan ada adegan romance antara Ara dan Aizen!!!
Penasaran???
Mari kita saksikan bersama-sama..
Pagi itu, yah tidak pagi lagi sih, Aizen dan Ara sudah sampai di depan gerbang Kebun Raya Bogor.
" ASYIK!!! Sampai juga akhirnya... Ara-chan.. Mari kita masuk... Please??" Kata Aizen dengan wajah anak anjing peliharaan Ara sehingga Ara tak tega melihatnya.
Akhirnya mereka masuk juga, dan tentu saja Ara yang membayar.
" Wuih!!! luas amat disini!!" seru Aizen... Membuat Ara menjadi malu karena orang orang disekitarnya melihat dengan pandangan mencela.
" Hahaha... pasangan baru yah?? Baru pertama kali ke Kebun Raya??" Sapa seseorang.
Ara berbalik dan bertemu 2 orang
gadis..Ara terkejut melihat mereka..Mereka pun juga kaget.
" Loh Ara??!!"
" Iya benar itu Ara!! Loh Ara itu siapa??" Seru mereka.
Ara hanya tersipu malu dan Aizen,yang tadinya sedang menatap pohon besar kaya orang belum pernah liat pohon,menoleh dengan kaget.
" Ara-chan.. mereka itu siapa??" tanya Aizen seperti anak kecil.
" Ara -chan??"
" Hahaha!! Pacar barumu yah??"
" BUKAN!!!" Bantah Ara, mukanya memerah.
" Hehehe... udah ngaku saja" Goda salah satu gadis,yang berkacamata "oh ya..nama kamu siapa??" Sambil menatap Aizen.
"Aizen Sosuke" kata Aizen.
" Siapa?? Aijen Sasuke?? kamu penggemar Naruto yah??" Tanya gadis yang satu lagi, sementara gadis berkacamata hanya cekikikan.
" Aduh... salah lagi.. Nama ku AiZen SOsuke" Kata Aizen.
" oh, Baiklah Aizen, kalian lagi kencan yah??" kata Gadis berkacamata.
Karena Aizen tak mengerti arti 'kencan' jadi dia menjawab 'ya'..tapi perkataannya dipotong oleh Ara.
" Bukan.. kalian juga mau apa disini?" Tanya Ara galak.
"Aduh.. Ara ngamuk, kita cuma jalan jalan ko...Aizen, kami lupa mengenalkan diri, maaf, Saya Agnez, salam kenal" kata gadis berkacamata, Agnez.
" Namaku Iva, salam kenal" kata gadis yang satu lagi. "Nez aku pergi yah..bentar lagi dia juga sampai"
" Baiklah.. tapi aku jadi ga ada yang nemen___" Kata Agnez tapi dipotong oleh Ara.
" 'Dia'?? Jangan-jangan Ben-ben yah?? " Tanya Ara, balas menggoda.
Muka Agnez memerah dan ia hanya meng-'iya' kan saja perkataan Ara.

Tak lama kemudian cowok yang dimaksud pun datang, seekor, eh salah, seorang cowok yang lumayan, tapi ganteng banget bagi Agnez.
Ben-ben pun tiba..
" Hai sayang.... lama menunggu?? Sapa Ben-ben, lalu terkejut melihat Ara dan Aizen, "Loh Ara?? ngapain disini?? Itu siapa?? Lagi kencan bukan"
" Enak aja!! Aku cuma nemenin dia aja ko"
" Kenalkan namaku Aizen Sosuke" Kata Aizen, sambil melanjutkan dalam hati " Semoga ga salah nyebut jadi Aisen maupun Aijen"
" Namaku Ben-ben,salam kenal Aizen.. benar kan??" tanya Ben-ben ragu-ragu.
" YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Akhirnya namaku disebut dengan benar, hahahaha" Tawa Aizen membuat Ara, Agnez dan Ben-Ben terkejut.
" Sudahlah Aisen jangan ketawa terus, malu!! orang orang pada ngeliatin tuh!!" Larang Ara.
" Tapi.. hahaha.. aku.. hahahaha.. wkwkwkw.. hahaha.... ga bis.. hahahaha!!!" Kata Aizen sambil tertawa tak henti-henti.
Sejak awal mereka, yaitu Ara, agnez dan Ben-ben hanya melihat wajah saja, mereka tak menyadar bahwa dibelakang Aizen ada seekor monyet kecil.
" Tolong.. hahaha..." Kata Aizen.. dan ia pun sudah tak tahan lagi, Aizen pun tertawa terbahak.
" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Ara, Agnez dan Ben-ben pun tambah bingung, akhirnya Agnez menemukan penyebabnya.
" IH!!! Ben, coba liat ini" kata Agnez pada pacarnya, Ben-ben pun menarik monyet kecil itu dan membuang-nya ** JAHAT!!!**
" Ngosh..ngosh.. thanks Ben..." Kata Aizen, Ben-ben pun mengangguk " Iya, ga pa pa ko, eh Ara, mau ikut bareng kita ga?? Double Date gitu deh.."
Akhirnya Ara pun setuju, meski tak mau mengakui bahwa mereka pacaran.
Mereka berempat pergi ke sebelah danau untuk piknik, makanannya?? Ternyata Ben-ben yang bawa.

“WUIH !!!! kenyang bok” Kata Aizen sambil mengelus-ngelus perutnya.
Ara, Agnez , dan Ben-ben hanya terdiam melihat ¾ bekal dimakan habis oleh Aizen.
“ Yah,.. mau bagaimana pun juga ini hanya buat piknik, bagaimana kalau nanti malam kita makan bareng saja yuk??” ajak Ben-ben sambil memandang Agnez penuh harap.
Semua setuju, mesikpun Ara agak ragu-ragu.
Di Cafe Dedaunan, malam hari...
Ara, dan Aizen dipesankan meja khusus pasangan, demikian juga Agnez dan Ben-ben.
Ternyata disana juga banyak pasangan mesra, Ara sedikit malu karena hanya dia dan Aizen yang tidak 'dekat'.
“ mmm, Ara-chan, sebaiknya kita pesan apa??” Tanya Aizen, yang sepertinya sudah lapar lagi
“ Apa saja, tapi jangan terlalu mahal, saya tak bawa banyak uang” Kata Ara sambil menyembunyukan diri di balik daftar menu
Sementara Aizen memesan, Ara tak sengaja melihat Agnez dan Ben-ben berdekatan sekali…**KYAA!!! Maafkan saya Agnez, Ben-ben**
Muka Ara langsung memerah, Aizen, yang telah selesai memesan, melihat muka Ara dan…
“ Ara kamu kenapa??”
Ara hanya menggeleng dan berharap Aizen berhenti menatap-nya
“ Ga pa pa ko, hanya sedikit kepanasan”
Aizen tambah bingung, ia sendiri memakai mantel tebal, demikian juga pengunjung lainnya.
Maka Aizen bertanya lagi, kali ini kepala mereka lebih dekat
“ Ara??”
Muka Ara tambah memerah, ia merasa sebentar lagi ia akan meledak
Melihat kepala Aizen yang semakin mendekat Ara merasakan jantungnya berdetak kencang
“ Perasaan apa ini?? Aneh tapi indah, seindah sunset di pinggir jalan, eh salah, di pinggir pantai” Pikir
Ara, mukanya tambah merah
“ Apakah ini yang namanya jatuh cinta??”
“ Ah… biarlah….”

“Padahal udah romantis tadi...”
